A Summer Overview of our Taggers - Laser Tag Source

June! Sweet, sweet June! As we mentioned in our blog a couple weeks ago, we are running a “Get Outside” promotional campaign for any events in June and July, so get those reservations in! Be sure to enter this code on our reservations page to get 15% off: GETOUTSIDE15. In the meantime… we know it can be tough to decide between our taggers. So what are the major advantages and disadvantages of each tagger? What is the ideal situation for each of these taggers?

The Phoenix LTX:

Nickname: “The Bread and Butter”
Ideal Age Group: Ages 6 and up
Day or Night: BOTH!
Cost: $12 per tagger
Special Features: The super awesome Ammo-Core Ejection Reload System.

The LTX is the most popular of our budget taggers, and with good reason! This tagger doesn’t get affected by sunlight, so it’s perfect for those long summer days!

The Ultimate LTX:

Nickname: “The Bread and Butter… plus Jelly”
Ideal Age Group: Ages 6 and up
Day or Night: BOTH!
Cost: $16 per tagger
Special Features: The Ultimate LTX transforms your Phoenix LTX into a laser-blasting shotgun, complete with a pump reload feature.

The Ultimate LTX is the perfect tagger for someone who isn’t QUITE ready to step up to the Battle Rifle or iCombat, but wants a little bit more bulk than what you get with our budget taggers.

The Titan:

Nickname: “The Sam Fisher”
Ideal Age Group: Ages 6 and up
Day or Night: Night
Cost: $12 per tagger
Special Features: 4 different weapon types, plus the ability to play on 4 separate teams.

Sure, the Titan struggles in direct sunlight. But have you SEEN how cool this tagger looks in the dark? If you’re planning an evening laser tag battle, this is the best budget tagger in our stock.

The Hornet:

Nickname: “Danger”
Ideal Age Group: Ages 6 and up
Day or Night: BOTH!
Cost: $12 per tagger
Special Features: An artificial intelligence system that will announce when enemies are closing in on your position.

The Hornet uses the same computer chip as the Phoenix LTX, which means it is unaffected by direct sunlight. Day or night, the Hornet is ready to buzz, err, blast its way to victory.

The Battle Rifle:

Nickname: “The Kitchen Sink”
Ideal Age Group: Ages 10 and up
Day or Night: BOTH!
Cost: $35 per tagger
Special Features: Where to begin? 4 game modes, each with their own unique weapon options (5 weapon choices in Deathmatch alone!). Headbands, red-dot scopes for pinpoint accuracy… the list goes on and on.

The Battle Rifle is the perfect variety tagger. It’s impossible to get bored when the game options make this laser tagger a real-life video game!

The iCombat Barracuda:

Nickname: “The G.O.A.T.”
Ideal Age Group: Ages 10 and up
Day or Night: BOTH!
Cost: $39 per tagger
Special Features: 1000 foot range and the ability to pair it with our CCM scoring system.

The iCombat is the best tagger we have. It has no limits on day or night laser tagging, plus you have the option of keeping a detailed score with the Command Center Module. This is the ultimate laser tag experience.

Be sure to check out our discount packages as well – when you reserve these taggers in larger numbers, a good chunk of that price gets knocked off. Combine that with your GETOUTSIDE15 discount, and we’re practically (not really) paying you to play laser tag!
