Originally you were planning a different party – tell me about your planning process.
Izze is all into superheroes and Marvel. As my wife Ashley and I were brainstorming on party ideas we thought about a Marvel Civil War laser tag party. One day Izze came up to us and mentioned Star Wars and we quickly made the switch but kept laser tag in the mix.
Those are both great parties and sound like tons of fun. How did laser tag fit into your plans?
Star Wars + laser tag is a no brainer. Plus we needed an activity for girls and boys ages 6-8, and were expecting 10-12 kids. It was too expensive to transport them to a facility – plus the gear at facilities is much heavier. A hand held gun that we could rent fit our needs perfectly!
Very good point. Having older kids I forgot about gear at facilities being heavier! Which guns did you rent?
We got the Hornets and also rented the Titan. The new guns (Titan), WOW! Laser tag was perfect. The guns worked great, the kids and all the adults played ha ha!
Did you guys have fun?
They were so excellent. We played most of the games with the hornets, and the adults used the Titan guns. We had a blast rolling on the floor jumping over stuff. It was so much fun.

We rented one of the rooms in our church to hold her party. We decorated with stars and purchased Star Wars party materials. We also rented the bunkers which made a huge impact when people walked into the room.
