Happy New Year from all of us at Laser Tag Source! Now, we can’t predict the future, but we have a feeling there is going to be a decent number of birthdays in 2018. And, considering how much new equipment we’ve gotten since our last “Birthday Recommendations” post, we figured it’s time we update you! So, what are the “must-rent” birthday party items for 2018 at Laser Tag Source?

TAGGERS:

This seems like an important part of any laser tag battle. It really all depends on who is having the birthday, and when the party is.

iCombat Barracuda

Quick Facts:

  • Best age: Between the ages of 12 and 104 years
  • Best Game Size: Two or more players – the sky is the limit!
  • Indoor or Outdoor: Either one!

You may have noticed we recommend the iCombat for almost any event. Why? BECAUSE IT’S AN AMAZING PIECE OF LASER TECHNOLOGY! With hits registering up to 1,000 feet away, your enemies can hide, but we seriously doubt they can outrun the iCombat’s epic range. Indoors or outdoors, this thing is a beast. Plus, it doesn’t matter if you’re playing at high noon or under the stars, the iCombat’s performance isn’t altered. These bad boys have a bit of weight to them, so we only recommend this option for players ages 12 and up.

Phoenix LTX

Quick Facts:

  • Best age: Ages 6 and up/li>
  • Best Game Size: Two or more players – the stars are the limit!
  • Indoor or Outdoor: Either one!

Is the birthday boy/girl not quite ready to graduate to the iCombat? Not a problem at all! Stick with our trusty Phoenix LTX. It may not have the game modes of the Battle Rifle, or the insane range of the iCombat, but this laser blaster is always a good time. Plus, at just $12.00 per tagger (and even less if you order a Preset Package), the LTX is as affordable as it is fun! Similar to the iCombat, this tagger isn’t phased by that big yellow thing in the sky. So feel free to play day or night, indoors or outdoors!

Battle Rifle

Quick Facts:

  • Best age: Ages 6 and up
  • Best Game Size: 2-20 Players
  • Indoor or Outdoor: Indoor during the day, either one at night.

The newest addition to our laser arsenal (Lasarsenal? Lasernal? Get back to us) is the Battle Rifle. With four unique game modes, plus a variety of weapon styles to choose from, the Battle Rifle has the most potential for mixing up what type of battle you have. Do you want to have a birthday sniper showdown? Roll with the SR-100 and see who’s the sharpest shooter in the crew. You know what’s even better than that? Mix up your teams with a variety of weapons, and see who can come up with the best strategy! Because of the extreme tactical strategies involved, plus the loud volume of the Battle Rifles, we recommend no more than 20 players at a time with these taggers.

There you have it! There’s our top three tagger options for a 2018 birthday bash! Of course, you really can’t go wrong with any of our taggers. The Titan is one of the coolest-looking taggers in our laser armory (Lasermy? Lasermory? Get back to us). It plays best indoors or at night. The Hornet is another great option (with an even better package deal) – we recommend this one for smaller parties, preferably less than 20 people.

Other Party Essentials:

Bunkers:

Fact: Laser tag is better when there’s something to hide behind. Especially if your battle is outside, bunkers are a must. Don’t worry – we provide the blowers and stakes!

Party Lights:

Hey, it’s not a party without some funky disco lights! Plus, $40 gets you FIVE party lights, so you can light up that room/yard like Times Square!

As always, feel free to contact our amazing customer service reps if you have any questions. And be sure to follow us on Facebook and Instagram for all of the latest announcements! Most importantly, just remember this: if anyone you love has a birthday at some point in the next 365 days, they want laser tag.
